shipping and exchange rates turns good deals out of the states into expensive propositions. would the 79/81, 15/16th be disk drum or disk disk? would the residual pressure valve be compliant with the stock disk drum of a 510?

I believe disk disk, disk drum were on particular year ZX's. Is why I mentioned asking Troy about MC setup for particular brake setups. Exchange rate and shipping rates would make that an expensive venture fersure but you gota pick one.

All 240/260 280z were front disc and rear drum brakes.
All 280zx were front and rear disc brakes.

All zx front disc and calipers were the same. Even the Turbo model.

Rear zx disc brake caliper style were changed in Aug '81

All zx masters were 15/16" but the master cylinder mounting bolts were changed from vertical to horizontal and dual reservoirs to single in Aug '81

Great info Mike thanks. Just to clean things up, the single reservoir MC is internally seperated by a baffle for front and rear brakes. Ok so then if you get the 7/8" MC from any 240,260 or 280Z and you have a worn out ZX 15/16 MC simply remove the reed for the rear brakes and put into the 7/8 MC.
