Looking at the spring rates, these came off a race car right? How old are the shocks?

Yes the car is used for racing. The shocks were bought brand new in 2012

Forgive a suspension newbie here, but what are the 'Threaded tube bodies with collars, comes with gland nuts. asking $50'?

I understand coil overs on front- stock and zx struts, but from the pics, it seems these tubes end before the spindle? So how would they be used? With some sort of bolt on spindle/hub assembly?

I feel like an idiot for not knowing. I thought I'd learned a thing or two about struts.

The threaded tube is a weld on piece. You can basically cut the welds on both sides and reuse the threaded portion. Basically you would slide these over your strut tubes(after you cut them down) and weld these in place to have spring height adjustment.

Gotcha, that makes sense to me. So the strut tubes the sleeves are on aren't for a 510, just the recycling of the threaded sleeve.
