The Z18 was only available in other parts of the world. The Z series engines lean about 20 degrees to the left from the L series position with the intake on the right side. It will bolt to your transmission but this will force it to the right 20 degrees against or very close to your strut tower.

I would advise looking for an L18 or larger L20B but have it with flywheel attached.

I have a L18 core for 100 but finding a 2L back east would be cheaper than the $550 to $700 to ship a pallet cross country.

Hey Guys, thanks for you replies! Happy new year to you all too.

About 6 years ago, it was so easy for me to get L18 motors, now it seems that its the hardest thing to find.

Im pretty much looking for a L18 motor but I will do an EFI conversion to it.

I have a L18 but you would have to pay shipping. How much are you willing to pay for the L18?

Analog,

My links are here for you on my EFI conversion of the L series motor as per your PM, I'll post them here because the subject comes up time to time....

This is the link to some of the EFI specific links for the L series engine;

And the installation starts on page 16 of my build thread;

viewtopic.php?f=27&t=530&start=225

That will give you some reading for a little while on my projected, hope that helps.
