WTB: Datsun 510 Rear Door Handles

Hey fellow Datsun fans,

I'm looking to purchase a set of rear door handles. I believe the 4-Door wagons and sedans are the same.

It's pretty easy to make new fronts work in the rear. Carefully grind out the pin holding the metal loop that hooks the latch. Then drill a hole, the right size in the right spot and install the pin and metal loop. You then have a nice new handle. Still available from Nissan.

Thanks Mike! Looks pretty straight forward. I do have a couple of 240z spare door handles. I’ll use those as a test run.

Though I’d still wouldn’t mind purchasing a set if anyone has a set or singles for sale.

If you have the original rear handles the parts needed for the conversion can be pulled off them and installed on modified front handles.

FutoFab has front door handles for $34.95/pair +S&H.

They are aftermarket, but an excellent reproduction.

Go with Futofab repop fronts and mod them to rears. Dave makes good quality at very reasonable prices.
