Re: Adjustable Rear Camber/Toe Brackets
Well, thank god for Google while our "Search" function is down. I found this thread through a Google search - worked instantly. Anyway, here's a bump for gen4maxima536 who needed the link on page one for the bracket installation procedure.

I also have poly bushings already installed, will that make a difference or like glitch said will I have to go back to rubber, I really don't want to spend on new bushings since mine are brand new
Re: F/S: Adjustable Rear Camber/Toe Brackets
I've not tried to use my set up with a poly bushing, but my feeling is that you won't get very much adjustment without putting undue stress on the bolts. Depending of the durometer of the bushing, you will get some adjustment, but how much I can’t know as I’ve not tried it. As a machinist, I don't like binding parts, and this could lead to pre mature failure of your poly bushings if too much stress is put on them. I do recommend the use of either the stock OEM bushings or a spherical bushing for best results if adjusting out large amounts of negative camber or toe situations.wilderb wrote:I also have poly bushings already installed, will that make a difference or like glitch said will I have to go back to rubber, I really don't want to spend on new bushings since mine are brand new

Eh Guys,
Due to a drop in production costs on my last run of these brackets, the price has been dropped $40 to $280 for the complete bracket set, all hardware included.

Sorry, you'll need to talk with Jeff about his crazy wagon camber kit!rnorrish wrote:Can I use them on a wagon?

Byron do you think your brackets will fix the toe if I use 280zx rear arms on my 510

Re: F/S: Adjustable Rear Camber/Toe Brackets
My kit only replaces the inner suspension mount - both camber and toe are both adjustable (independently) on the one mount; the outer mount stays in its stock location - unmodified.XeroX wrote:This is great!

Re: F/S: Adjustable Rear Camber/Toe Brackets
I don't see why it would be any different. The replacement inner mount will work in the same fashion. Because the ZX are is effectively longer, you'll actually use less of the adjustment available in this conversion. It will work fine.dislexicdime wrote:Byron do you think your brackets will fix the toe if I use 280zx rear arms on my 510

Re: F/S: Adjustable Rear Camber/Toe Brackets
Eh guys,
I just had an inquiry from a fella wanting to do the spherical bush installation on his car with my C&B Camber/Toe brackets - so I started with a drawing for him. Sorry that it’s in paint – I don’t have access to a proper drawing program anymore – sucks. So excuse the very simple drawing with no details, like appropriate chamfers and radius’s where necessary. Currently the drawing is not completely dimensioned - only referenced. I will work on the dimensions as we go.
There is a word of caution here; The bores that the LCA OEM bush presses into were once upon a time round, but all of the ones I have worked on are now quite oval. So the dimension "C" should be size for size to 0.001" max press fit, else crushing of the spherical bush may make its operation a bit tight. So this dimension I will leave open - this dimension should be adjusted to the installation ID.
Otherwise, we're good to go. As I said, I will add dimensions as they become available.

Are the rubber bushings still available?
