We leave plant at 5:30 sharp, so we should hit 232 and #1 around 6'ish. We go 91 to #10, then out through Cloverdale and the Langley bypass, then over to 232, and feed on by the Chevron station.
It is going to be very HOT, mainly for the trip back, so be prepared for major heat. Let's hope traffic is not bad coming back, specially through that Langley corridor, or, we drop down to 16th and run to 99. It is 34 0r 35 in Hope right now.

avoid Highway 1 at all costs, especially during the afternoon/evening.

with the construction in Abby and Surrey, it took me nearly 2 hours to get to work Tuesday.
and that was heading from Chilliwack to Surrey, just after 9 am.

they shut the highway down to one lane each way throughout sections, between McCallum and the Port Mann.

Saturday could be a little different from weekdays though. I'd play it safe though Kieth in your car, and just avoid it all.

Do you mean even on Saturday morning????? If you mean saturday mornings, we should then just keep going out the Fraser Highway, which dumps us on at Macallum road. I did that when I left for camping last Wednesday, as I knew they were working on the whole stupid section. I will maybe check the highways site, to see what work schedule is.

I know Highway 99 is a bear now also, as they start construction at 7:00 PM at the tunnel, and north and south, as they work on the HOV lanes. I will come back #10, and then over the Alex fraser...not sure if they work weekends though.

Morning World.

So, everybody ready for tommorrow? Sorry you can't make it Aron, this would have been a good initial run for your car. Electrical is not my strong point either,,once I get past a red and black wire...it all goes to hell.... :? Maybe that's why I have not gone the fuel injection route yet....

One tip for tommorrow, throw a couple of water bottles in the freezer, you should have cold water all day. I'm stopping at CDN TIRE today, and am getting a slightly larger cooler to take this time.

I could not find anything about the highway construction from 232nd to Macallum road, heading east on #1. Are we taking a chance and still going that route? We will be hitting that at about 6:15 A.M..

Keith, I have gone through that bit a few times in the last couple weeks and had no problems, there really shouldn't be a problem that early in the morning
