Yes I am Portuguese, I see you are from Porto and Benfica would probably not be your favorite team.
Do you have a 510 in Portugal?
I think the 510 in Europe was not called 510, what was it called ?
and where there any differences to the North American models

Hey Aron
Good thing you were behind me and noticed my tire caming apart.
The left rear tire was completely gone on the inside edge and the cords were showing.
Thats what happens when you have too much negative camber. (stock camber for the gordini's)
I went to the tire shop today. There isn't alot of choice in this size of tire so I went with the
Yokohama Avid H4S tires 185 65 15, I hope their decent.
I am ready for your next drive, hopefully with a little more grip.

Thanks for the phone call Aron.

Paul,

Welcome to the Club.

You seem to be fitting in quite well!

Hopefully I can meet you one of these days at an upcoming event - paid membership or not. ;)

Jason, next time you and I should rent something and go on one of these... I've missed too many due to not meeting the admission requirements.

I will get Matt to email the photo, then I will post it up. Matt was able to mimic a "tilt shift" lens, in his Lightroom photo editing program, a very cool effect.

I have confirmed that it was carb icing I was experiencing on Saturday. It is really interesting the I have always experienced it, on the trip out the valley, on high humidity, low temp, fall days. When I am just cruising along, at steady throttle, the turbo puts no heat into the system, and my intercooler really drops the temp. On saturday I showed a discharge temp going into the motor of 37-45 F., with of course that fog that we went through. The humidity is the key. When you think that last years OCTOBERFAST, where the temp was below freezing, but, the air was very dry, I had not one problem. When I would come to a stop light, thanks to my wide band, I could see the engine would go dead LEAN, as when the throttle is closed, the ice was restricting the signal. Why planes fall out of the sky. " Apply carb heat Captain!"
