9 hours drive time for you - wow. I would think you had a good 3 hours more than everyone else due to your "commute" in from Chilliwack. Nicely placed thumb BTW…

What a great drive. Chad and Matt were both breaking in their new cars today. Chad has a few miles on his - probably tripled the total mileage on his car today alone! Not a flaw – a tribute to his fabrication nd assembly skills. Don’t worry; I broke the Bronze in on a Run Beyond Hope as well. It ran for the first time the night before the run!
Matt's KA-T (and driver) also performed very well. In the early morning I found myself out front for much of the drive, being spirited and all when possible and safe to do so. It is a very nice road, pretty hard to pull back. And let's just say I wasn't letting up in the corners, much - if at all. And there was Matt, firmly in most of the 5 panels on the rally rear view mirror. Very impressed... I think I need "Moar" go, as James might put it. Matts home fabrication of his KA-T installation would be the envy of many. Very nice job Matt, great you could make it out.

Great group, great drive. Everyone behaved themselves, we wouldn't expect much less from our crowd, and it makes it fun.
Traffic coming home was, well let's say heavier. A 'go with the flow' cruise it became for much of the later afternoon.

Special thanks to Andrew who spent much of the day trying to get the plug on my Garmin to flow electrons during his "ride time" - checking and soldering joints it a moving car! I appreciate the effort Andrew.

And a special thanks to Keith who at least sets some sort of standard to these drives, and at the very least set the route and time/day and is our guardian for keeping things going and organized. Otherwise we’d just bench race all day and drive nowhere – I admit, I need a kick in the but more often than not.

So; now that the Run Beyond Hope is done, we have Oktoberfast approaching I have insurance until the 9th of Nov.

WOW, what an excellent day! Ten 510s ('68 - '73, impressive) and one Toyota Cressida wagon made up our Lillooet convoy today. Great driving by everyone, Thank You!

Wow, another fantastic day driving!!!

I second Matt's car and driving skill. As we headed up the first steep climb, I was behind Matt, car was very stable, and, had very smooth power as we did the higher speed rollers and bumps. Also a testament to todays high performance tires. Matt, Byron and I had a fantastic stretch with no traffic, so we could really get the FLOW happening, I think Matt had the biggest grin on his face as he had never driven like that.

My car ran great other than my re-jet on the secondary was a bit to rich, mostly on initial secondary throttle opening. I will go down on the fuel jet and leave the air the same, see if that helps. I'm more concerned on being a bit fat at the top of the secondary and boost.

I was quite shocked at the "stats" on my GPS:

For me, plant to plant, it was 6.55 hours moving, 5.12 hours STOPPED!!!!! Our moving average was 79 KMH, with an overall at 45, for whatever that is worth. Almost 1/2 our day stopped. I did a total of 546 KM, or, 339 miles.
