Oh Yah, I was there for the battle between 4 track and 8 track...8 track won, kinda like the Blu Ray war. I might even have some 8 tracks buried some where. Doobie Bros, sound track from the Good, Bad & the Ugly, Crosby Stills Nash & Young...70's stuff.....Wow, that dated me.....eclectic mix at any rate....anything good for driving...which did NOT involve crashy, sceechy guitars..never my bag.

The blank speaker covers in the 510 right now, were from my 8 track, as by the time cassettes came out, I was pitching un-necessary weight from my car, and I could not have heard a stereo anyhow. One trip I took a Sony Walkman along, and by the time I got to Kelowna, my ears were ringing so bad I could not hear properly for 1/2 hour. Never did that again!

Clearing off to the south west right now, nice and sunny and clear on the Duffy.

Just finished fueling the car, got the GPS mounted, tools, tire pressure set, car washed

going to get gas and take butters for a shake down run,put my new end links in today and fresh coolant. i hooked up my heater on friday and had a small leak in side . so i had to put my bypass hose back on.

got back from my shake down run,think my rad drain plug is shot.i got it as tight as i can go with out busting that cheap plastic thing. i'll see if it is leaking in the am.
