Olympia’s only Nissan and Mitsubishi event is back for the 3rd year. This
years event will feature a lot of new things and increased support from
our sponsors. Fisher House (JBLM) will be the beneficiary receiving the
proceeds from our raffle. A Fisher House is “a home away from home”
for families of patients receiving medical care at major military and VA
medical centers. Once again we will have vendors on hand with displays,
products, and entertainment. We encourage everyone with a Nissan,
Datsun, or Mitsubishi to register their vehicle online. The registration
process is subject to approval and usually fills up pretty quick.

What "group" of Nissans is this amined at - mostly late model stuff?

Let us know the demographic - it's a pretty good drive for us Canucks, but a good show is worth driving to.

The majority of the cars will be made up of Evo's and 240's, but this show is not exclusive to those two models. One of my big goals for this year was to increase the amount of Old School Vehicles that participated. At this point we have more registered than in years past, but far from my goal. That being said...I think you should come. We have a solid crowd already coming down from Canada...the more the merrier.

Here are a few shots from 2010 and 2011. The 2011 event was covered in Modified Magazine and it will be covered again this year.

Rusel, thanks for your reply.

So in years past, how many cars has this show attracted? And what do you expect this year?
We're certainly looking at doing a road trip - our border is a PITA, but after that it's 4 hours of beating on the shocks down the I-5. It was discussed that we take an alternate route to get off the concrete- although in recent years some of it has been covered in bitumen.
Having just completed our two day auto-x/car show up here in Vancouver this past weekend, it'll be nice to just show up and hang out at an event.

Let us know what you are expecting as far as numbers go, it would be good to come down..

The event is held here at our dealership, so we clear off the used car lot and a few other portions directly connected to make way for the show. We can park about 100-130 vehicles in our parking lot. This event isnt the biggest show around, but for a show that only allows Nissan/Datsun/Infiniti/Mitsubsihi Id say it holds it own. We have a solid crowd that comes out - I estimate about 400-500 people have came out each year. We get a lot of foot traffic from the neighboring dealerships. I will say that I have a feeling this years event is going to much larger in attendance. We have over double the rsvp's on Facebook vs last year and our car show registration is nearly full.

A little more general information about the event because I dont post over here as much.

EVO RALLYSPORT
ERS will be at the event with their Rally Simulator. We will be running a contest all day to see if anyone can beat Scott Kovalik at his own game. We havent solidified how we will run the Sim, but our basic idea was to charge a small fee to drive and that will be donated to the Fisher House JBLM.

I'm always super impressed by the quality of prizes, trophies, giveaways, etc. - if you are going to make it to WA for one show, it's a good one.

I would prefer to have as many people preregistered as possible. This will help us organize the show better, get the cars in early, capture emails so we can communicate with participants, etc. If you want to email me the names/vehicle information for the group you are coming with - that works for me. The registration closing doesnt mean you cant contact me directly. I just needed to get the bulk settled so I can plan.
