2013 Vancouver All Nissan Meet, August 10th and 11th

Looks like we're headed for a stellar weekend for the All Nissan Meet folks. A few new guys have stepped up to the plate to help out, thanks guys. I certainly can't do this event on my own.

With lots of sun in the forecast, I'll be sure to bring coolers of water. But bring your hats anyways.

See you all on Saturday at 8:30 to run the solo, this will allow enough time to get your car ready and through tech, register and walk the course a time or two.

I'm looking forward to the event this weekend, hope to see many of the old guard, and the weekend always brings out some new guys and we always look forward to this.

Once my truck is autoX ready i'm going to come to this event to see a the Canadian brothers. That is if the bureaucrats in this country don't make it impossible to leave this country.

Holy crap, what a fun day! My "Walmart special racing tires of death", aka Nexen all season tires, actually held up a lot better than I thought they would, they are still on the rims LOL! Thanks to everyone who helped and set this up! It was a fun, tiring day!

What's great day, about as good as it gets. Some guys got in 12 runs today which is awesome. There were enough people to accommodate 3 run groups, which mean while one group ran, the other worked and the third was free to mill around. This is ideal really, and it works well.

A huge thanks to the following people who made today work;
BCMA for the use of their equipment
Translink for the use of their lot
Jason for stewarding the construction of the perimeter with help from Cam, Andrew and...
Denis for single handedly teaching every car that ran today
Calos, and Aron's sons Sean and Micheal for manning the front gate
Mandy for taking registration and timing all day with no break!
Robyn's, Bill, John,Cam, Campbell, Aron, Pat and many others for setting up the course
Steatch and Mick who brought their tow truck and removed the stragglers cars
Cam for getting on the Internet and spreading the word
And to every one who attended for diligently worked there course. I know ow many more helped out, intact I believe every single competitor today helped clean up at the end of the day. Thank you all so much. It was a very enjoyable AutoX.
I have the times, and will try to post them before leaving on vacation right after tomorrow's show, if I don't get them in, then later in the week I'll have a chance to post them up.

Registration opens at 9am, we'll do the awards around 2-3 or so.

The weather looks like it will continue to be spectacular for our car show, I look forward to seeing all you local guys out again this year.

Worked Saturday, racing last night till 1am, then I was hoping to go to the meet on Sunday. The 510 was cleaned and all packed ready to head out this morning, raining outside when I got up at 530. Radar showed I would have to follow this front all the way into Van. No go for me, back to bed…. I hope you guys had fun and hopefully some better weather up there for the meet …
