Maybe I just missed it but what are our expected times at the meeting places?

I'll also be going across at Sumas since Aldygrove is closed early in the day.

hey Jordan,

You should hook up with Ron, he is crossing at Sumas also, and then running down highway 9 to Sedro Woolly, and meeting us at the junction, at the Pharmacy parking lot. the above link shows the right Aid parking lot.

For the rest of us, lets meet at 5:00 Am, at the Campbell Valley store, which is at the corner of 8th and 176th, a kilometer before the truck crossing.

If we get clear of the border and whatever fuel top up, we should be in Sedro by 6-6:30, it's only 42 miles.

Any questions....ASK..we don't want to lose or miss anybody!

I took a call from Pat R, he'll be bringing his mister 2. I forwarded Ron's contacts to him as Pat is coming in from the Wack.

Another to add to the list...should be fun.

So, we have 8 510's, plus, meeting Chunstone in Winthrop for lunch, and 1 MR2.

Should be a blast, looking at the Cascades this morning out my window, nice cool cloud cover for the morning.

I'm ready, quite excited actually......

So that's where Kieth's soundtrack comes from.

On some Octoberfast or Run Beyone Hope (they all blend together in my mind), on the way home we were all just coming out of the Snakepit in the Fraser Canyon. Immediately after the very twisty twisties, there is a train bridge and an increasing radius right hander which then opens up into a driving lane and passing lane. You know the one.

I back off from the group to add a gap.
I go for a rip through the twisties.
Feeling pretty good about myself, I hit the hill and I burry my foot in the carpet... or maybe it was just the rubber floor mat, or maybe it was just painted metal; I can't remember and it doesn't matter.
This red mark appears in the sideview mirror.
It gets bigger.
Bigger.
It passes.
Then a noise I have never heard before happens.

Dafuq.

My only regret is not having a car with an engine in it in time for this meet.

If you get to Sedro Wooley by 6:30 or even 7:00 , according to Google maps, it is only 127 miles to Winthrop, or 2.5 hours. Maybe a stop or two, so 3 hours, looks more like 10am in Winthrop. I'll plan on being there by 10 am.

Yah, it just depends on what photo ops we may take. I would like to book it there, to get the cooler air for the morning drive, so we should be there in good time. Then, for the drive back, if traffic is an issue, stopping is no problem because we are not going anywhere fast. Are there passing sections on the uphills at all, i have no sense of the highway.

Some times your Homeland security can take awhile, as we will be clearing eight cars, so as long as there are no issues, we should be there in your time frame. We will head right to the Brewery first when we get there, then get to Chevron after that.

I might not make it to Winthrop, was just out and the car had a vibration that I noticed. Damn!
