Yah, me too, but, if it does not look like 100% good weather...see you all on the next whatever..

I'm thinking that on a real nice weekend coming up here...we just do a nice spring drive to the Stave Falls Museum, have lunch, cruise back to our hideouts. It is now open and I found it fascinating.

That sounds like a good idea, that is quite a nice drive around that Stave lake loop.

Yah, I'm doing the same, but will be up earlier and check all the highway cams between Whiterock and UBC, any wet roads, I'm out.

price of fuel..I just gassed up the G35 and looked at the Chevron 94 price, 1.678, so i predict that at this rate, we will see over 1.70 by summer driving season. so, in an empty 510 tank, at about 45 litres, a fill would be 76.00 or so. I just filled up the G, 64 litres and it cost me 104.00 for 91.

For me, a fill is going to be over 100.00, coupled with my fuel additive. I just put 5 gallons of 100LL into it and i think I paid 1.78 a litre for that.

Time to get serious about being a bad Canadian and going across the border to fuel up.

I'll be out there tomorrow no matter what the weather.

I did actually detail the Bronze today - seriously I don’t think I've ever spent this much time cleaning and polishing the car before a show. Not that I was trying to make a special attempt, but the car really needed a good once over.

I spent a couple of hours on the wheels alone. I left them wet over the winter with Polymatrix A compound dust on them when I put it in the garage - that shit ate right through the clear coat of those nice VTO's I bought from Dave. I polished them up as best I could but it certainly is right through the clear coat in spots. At least they look ok again.

I’ll bring the tent if it looks like it will rain. And I'll bring a lawn chair or two. Spanish Banks is always windy, so come prepared for that.

See you all in the morning.

Morning World!

Winds howling here in Whiterock this morning, small shower just passed over. Roads wet on 99, Oak street, etc.. rain in Nanaimo.

What is report in Vancouver, I can't see to the North, the South looks like light cloud cover so far, but the sun is not up high enough to get a sense.

Well the weather turned out to be pretty good after all! I showed up a little later and it was all fun in da sun - although a little chilly if the clouds rolled by! Good turn out despite the threatening weather in the AM. Big thanks goes out to Rich for throwing it together and of course the AWESOME trophies!

It was a great show Rich - thank you again for putting it on when we know you really don't have time right now!

Good turnout, and it was sunny enough for me to get a bit red - even below that hat! (I know it doesn't take much, but it proves it was a nice day).

There were a few new cars, and some new faces from guys who've joined the Realm here in the last couple of year - that was awesome to see.

And generally great people to talk with all day long, and that's the best part.
