OK so I will get up at 4 and be out the door by 4:30. The Google says it is a 50 min drive without traffic from my house. My wife is making fun of me for getting up that early to go for a drive.

That's not early, believe me, we have started way earlier over the years, specially for those 400-500 mile days.

DON'T FORGET PASSPORTS!!!!!!

I'm not sure my 41 year old car will start that early in the morning but I'll give it my best shot

As we are sticking to the coast line the temperatures look to be really nice 24C (75F), be a nice morning for the motors and a nice afternoon for the drivers

Morning World,

Wow, I cannot believe how quiet the site is and the lack of people stepping up for a drive. This is the second summer of a down turn of drivers. I know some are busy with life projects right now, but from a time when we would have 12 - 510's out, we are now down to 2.

Looks to be a really nice day, we will be heading into a late morning full moon.

Maybe a lot of people have Family things planned for the long weekend?

I'd love to be out, but I'm building a garage - the excavator is coming this week, just prepping the site a bit more as my last meeting with the contractor showed we will be move a significant amount of dirt! So I'm clearing a bit more of the yard to place that dirt on this weekend.

I look forward to the photos guys.

Byron

I'd love to come along but currently my engine is about 15 away from the rest of the car and it's likely going to be many months before it gets back in there. I too look forward to the photos.

Found some on board footage of Keith's last drive through Chukanut.
This should be a fun day.

Morning Gang,

I hope I have not made a bad call...it is now 7:45 and the border lineups are over an hour now.

I will check the line ups just before I leave the house to pick up my car, then when I meet up with you we can make the call to either cross or go for a nice drive in Canada. If we hit there at 5:45 lets hope we are ahead of the push.

If anything MAKE SURE YOU ARE ON TIME, car gassed, fueled up, breakfast, so that we can leave Campbell Valley store right at 5:30. I would rather get across in minimal time and go for a coffee in Blaine, before we hit the road. We also want to be ahead of any cruisers on the Chukanut anyhow.
