Chances are if the weather is good locally, that gets us over the Coastal Mtns and we'll be into good weather anyways :-)

Fingers crossed - for both good weather and the ability to attend :D

I just checked Accu-weather for Hope and Coquitlam. Sunny and high teens predicted for both the 26th and 27th.

We will have a meeting on Friday night to see what is going on with the weather.
As I said a 110% window or I am not moving. I can think of a few people that will be in with me, in as much as our tires are deadly in any rain too.

Completely on board with the no rain thing Keith. It's no fun driving around in the slosh.

I could drive in a bit of rain if I had to but it would be pretty sketchy.

It's now got a chance of snow in that weather report. That's a whole lot of no, my tires are already slippery on the road at 10c....much colder and they have to come inside for the winter and be put to bed in the workshop; with a nice pillow so they sleep well till spring

Norm,

Those things have no tread left.
If you leave them at my place I'll slip you 50 bucks and save you a trip to the recycling depot.
Just tryin to help here.

Looks like the weather is shifting for us, as it looks to be dry with slight cloud. That would be good as that keeps the fog away this time of year.

I am going to prepare my car this morning, in good faith that we may luck out here. While we don't need to be stupidly early, I suggest that we meet at the Hope Chevron at 6:30 to 7:00, with a 7:00 Am leave. This time of year it takes no time at all to get to Manning, so we can either go for coffee/breakfast at the Lodge first, then zip up to the Lookout. I will phone on Friday and make sure the road is open. On Friday we can discuss if we want to go further than Manning.

EDIT: Nice drive into work this morning, dry, 10C. roads dry and no fog. If we get a Sunday morning Like this it will be a great day of driving.

This is Sunday, the 27th. That lets a few make it. Also, as Saturday looks good, lets everything dry up.

In looking outside right now, 6:50, it is still quite dark, with a light cloud cover. Maybe we can shift forward so that from Hope on we are in nice daylight.

7am at Chevron in hope, is it the one with the town pantryon old hope Princeton way? Out of my place by 5:30 and I may even be able to find coffee at that time.

It is the one on the old highway, with the WhiteSpot in it. NOT the one that faces the Fraser River.
