Either of those dates would work for me.

Saw this today, the legendary Fairlady Z432. 1 of 420 built and now worth a fortune.

Sorry, no 510's. Had something similar called a Bluebird

It will be either June 11th or 12th, depending on weather.

The Hell's Gate opens at 10:00, so we do NOT need to do a real early start. I would suggest that a final meet up point would be the usual Chevron in Hope, then we can just have a nice convoy into the Canyon. Take a look at their web site, looks to be $22.00 to do the tour.

Then, after that, we can come back via #7 and over the Mission Bridge, then maybe do a jiggy jog on the back roads back to Ft. Langley and split up from there. I would head to #1 and back on the South perimeter road.

ok so what time is not too early? From the ferry to the Chevron is 177km......I think I may need to stay in town that night. I could do it in about 1:30 without having to worry about getting into trouble but that would still mean a 8:45 meetup time. Staying in town I will just have to wake up the nice part or West Van nice and early....maybe annoy my in-law's neighbours in the process....I guess we all have to make some sacrifices for my fun.

Why don't we say that we will all meet at the Chevron between 9:30 - 10:00. It's not like it is tourist season and we are trying to beat the loaded tourist bus's.

The Gate is only 40 minutes max away, the day is ours, so we have no real schedule as we are NOT doing 400 miles.

Norm, I have not forgotten what we talked about, I just have to find the information in the Bert Vorgon Archives.

Nice I can sleep in my own bed! That sounds good to me. It is 261km from my garage to hells gate so that will be a nice day of driving.

Depending on schedules we may get to tag along in the wife's car, kids have never been through that particular hell yet...

I have been going by that thing for 45 years since it was built, and not once have I ever gone to it. I really looking forward to this, lets hope our weather holds.

I even sell them some "product" from my business!

The family is interested in attending as well with me. Since it's fully open highway, I may just bring up the rear of the pack and take Ole Blue with family in tow for this drive. I'll leave a couple hours earlier just so that i can arrive at the same time as the rest of you ;-)

I was at Hells Gate about 15 years ago, it's pretty cool, worth a stop.

Fingers crossed for the weather next weekend as we have a great weekend coming up now.

Cool, why not. I will throw that carb in my trunk also for you. We will not be going fast, that corridor is in the RCMP blast zone.

Damn Mike, not good to hear.
Firstly, I hope it recovers. However if this really goes sideways on you and you need a fabricator for the controls, I'll be there to help you out. What ever it takes to keep you in the 510!
