Morning World,

As it looks to be nice..possibly..on Sunday, I still plan to drive out to the race track in the AM. I will endeavor to get a race update later today and see how things went yesterday, if they got any practice and qualifying in. It did brighten up later in the day.

Still raining in White Rock right now but the sky is getting brighter over Victoria way.

I would cruise out to through New West and head for the Lougheed, meet you out there somewhere. I do not mind going that way in the morning, does not have to be stupid early in this case. I am going to wash my car at work before I leave anyhow.

Is that the one on Nicola Avenue...? Just so one of us is at the right spot.

I dunno, what do you think 9:30 AM? Going to take us at least 1/2 hour out to the track. Looks dry out there right now, I will check all cameras in the morning, must be close to 100% nice.

No. Got the street wrong.

This one. It's actually just beside Coast Meridian Overpass, right beside the Lougheed Hwy. 9:30 AM sounds fine.

Ha...see...that's why we check things.....Ok...The Timmy's on the map you sent the link to. If you get a call from the Timmy's in Horse Shoe bay you know I got it wrong.

That will be a bit easier for me to get to anyhow. Let's hope the weather is good, I feel like half the year is gone and have hardly driven. Next drive is going to be to Fort Casey.

I sent you mine.

I will meet you there at 9:30 as planned. I am just going to bring the G35, don't have the enthusiasm to drive to work, move everything to get the 510 out, just to burn up good gas down the Lougheed. I have to be back for dinner on time so that saves me the trip back to Richmond anyhow.

Andy's out, brake issue. Rained off and on at the track and I'm not sure if Harry and Tracey did any qualifying or not, I think Tracey said her race is at 1;30.

Guys, Glen, Mandeep and myself are going out in the 510's to the Cars and Coffee at WX Autowerks in North Vancouver this morning. Bit last minute, but through the wonders of texting, we all just touched base this morning and are headed out, picking up Carl J in his Roadster on the way. Post photos later.

Ok, here are some pictures from today. This will be the last of the "SPRING" thread as we are now into summer and I will start a Fort Casey thread.

Met up with Richard and we had a leisurely drive out to the track with minimal traffic. AS we arrived Tracey was just coming in having qualified on the pole. There was some discussion that the car was under steering tad so the decision to lower the rear some was made.

It threatened rain for the race but other than a few drops it stayed dry, but it sure was cool out there.

Tracey led from start to finish, car ran perfectly.

The Goodyear blimp was there on it's retirement flight and celebrating 60 years for FOUNTAIN TIRE. Last time I saw it was at Vancouver Indy.
