High jack my own thread a bit hear, seeing as how we are on a bit of a bad driver tear....
A few weeks ago, long story short, this happened RIGHT in front of me, where a driver decided at the least minute to jump on the brakes and almost do a u-turn to go up 72nd, from 91. The woman in front swerves to miss, gets the lamp standard, which then falls ACROSS the windshield of car right behind, I climb on the brakes to miss the tractor who is trying to get it hauled down and not hit the fallen lamp standard. I was able to get by in the mud next to the base. The woman ended up in the ditch. All ok but very shaken nerves to say the least. The offending driver has disappeared into the sunset.....
I was almost in snooze mode in my drive home, thus again proving you cannot EVER let your guard down and the Infinity brakes did their job....
