Event Details: About The Knox Mountain Hillclimb - The Knox Mountain Hillclimb, is run annually on Knox Mountain Park Road, in the City of Kelowna. The road, while paved, is narrow with off-camber corners, and steep grades; a nice Sunday drive, but hardly a race track. It is 2.2 miles (3.5km) long, and climbs approximately 800 feet (245 meters) in elevation for an average grade of 6.7%.
Past its 59th year, Knox Mountain is the longest annually running paved hillclimb in North America. The event attracts top drivers from throughout the Pacific Northwest, looking for the challenge and thrill of being fastest.
Cars are run one at a time, each trying to reach the top in the lowest elapsed time. Drivers/cars compete in various classes from open wheeled formula cars to powerful large engined GT cars. But, each hopes to be "King of the Hill", earning the fastest time of the weekend.
The current hill record is 1m:37.065, held by John Haftner of Vancouver, British Columbia. Times under two minutes are considered exceptionally fast, with few drivers achieving that and even fewer sedans having ever achieved that. Most times fall between 2m00s and 2m30s. To achieve top times, speeds in excess of 160kpH must be reached on the short straights.

Event Details: Announcing the 12th annual DNW Datsun Canby car show, we've had 11 very successful years and looking forward to this year. Friday will be early arrival and vendor/swap set up, Saturday car corral, dinner and movie and Sunday car show, raffle and awards. This year will be more family (with kids) friendly with things for the little Datsun people in our life to do besides looking at great cars. The venue will provide, camping, showers, bathroom & sink, wash area for cars, food vendor on site, swap and vendor sites, banquet dinner with slide show, plenty of parking and movie night. No preregistration again.

Event Details: We Have a Japanese Import Class this year and are sourcing pre 1973 Datsuns for the Concours. Our Event Has been running on the labour day long weekend for 16 years, it is held on the oceanfront of Crescent Beach. The show field is 15 minutes north of the Canada/USA Border. For event organizers; Even if you have a pretty good idea that your event is a go, list it here and update the details as you make them available. Getting the dates and locations down is the important part as people plan their vacations and summer in advance.

2017 KNOX MOUNTAIN HILLCLIMB, KELOWNA B.C.

This will be the 60th running. I plan to attend on the Saturday one way or another, perfect scenario is the weather is good and we convoy up in the 510's.

I ran into a blizzard last year, which would have been INSANE on performance tires, I had to go dead slow in the Infinity.

Good day Mr Vogon, thanks for your input. I updated the Knox event into the Datsun calendar of events as 510's often race this event, and it's really special this year being the 60th Annual running.

Are there other specific Datsun shows being planned this year that you all may have heard about? Please drop me a line and I'll look into it.
