I see an electric motor, and a battery pack under the hatch...but wasn't really sure what was on the RH side of the motor.
Are you telling me the arrow is pointing at a turbine connected to a generator?

That looks like a Jetcat turbine used in Model planes and helicopters. No way possible it could sustain and power a vehicle unless it's used to charge a bank of batteries......very cool though.

Agreed. Love to see new variations of an old idea. I know little of how small gas turbines get, but from what I have read is that a turbine can be very efficient when held exactly at it's designed load range. They hate altering RPM which is why they didn't work in any automotive application - far too thirsty. But here where it's running a generator or alternator, it completely makes sense. And the battery pack as the buffer and as a storage device makes the package work.
