Sounds good, I am hoping to drive back on the Coast highway after leaving Sonoma, never been down that way before, then cut over to Tacoma at the top. Do not have enough time to do the Olympic Peninsula.

Wow, I am kinda shocked at our instant winter type weather, hoping we get a break in October for our drive. Matt and I snuck out yesterday for a quick mountain bike ride between rain cells.
At least the campfire ban has been rescinded, still going to camp a few more times before the snow flys.

It's a bit cooler than normal for sure. Headed to northern Alberta next week - snow in the forecast there for tomorrow! Eeeek!!

Thank god I live in Vancouver!

Lets hope the weather is good ! Jeez has it been wet and cool, I actually turned the furnace on the other day to take the dampness off the place in the morning.

Mike, do you have the HID lights? I just put some new, higher output bulbs in mine, I will let you know if it was worth it.

So I am sitting here in my Daffy Duck pajamas, sipping my morning coffee and finishing off the box of Girl Guide Chocolate Mint cookies, when this thought came across my mind.

As I am now retired, as are a few others in our group, let alone some with a flexible work schedule...why do we not go for a drive during a week?! Not his year of course but maybe next year we need to think about that. No weekend traffic is awesome!

This very drive we are planning, when I did it this year mid week, had zip for traffic, BOTH ways. The Canyon had minimal traffic.

Something to ponder at any rate. When you look at this weeks weather, it would have been perfect.

I know most work 9-5, M-F and I do get that. I am lucky however to have a flexible work schedule. As my work involves services here in North America, Asia and Europe - I’m on thin phone at all hours of the day and can move my work around.

In other words, I could be available depending on the day.

I’d be into that.
Keep in mind this will probably be an older demographic so we will have to schedule nap breaks in the early afternoon. I like to eat dinner at 4:30 as well.
