Powerland aka Camby replacement

Post by drieseck » 09 Jun 2019 16:46

Many thanks to jbirds510, this guy did a fantastic job putting this together----solo.

I was there today, Sunday. (I missed Saturday) There were 60-70 cars, trucks, wagons, one-off's -----all well represented. Several parts vendors, numerous individuals selling parts. There was sun, shade, level lawn, plenty of room, restrooms and nice guy at the gate.

FWIW, I only missed the Realm Guys from up-north. I think jbirds510 already re-booked for next year. So, for our friends with maple leafs in the grill, its only 3 exits further than Camby, --------worth the trip.

For those in doubt, easily as good as Camby.

Well done.

Dillon said he liked it better then Canby. I found that surprising. Hopefully next year I can make it.

I had a great time, here are links to my public FB albums with photos of the event.

Lots of pics, in 4 albums, trip to, day 1, day 2, and trip back. All datsun related of course.

The trip to the event.

What's up with that stepside 521, is that an original bed style? Really cool.

Chevy bed? I vaguely remember that concept from the 80's mini-truckin' explosion.
