When we do OCTOBERFAST, and if we do the full meal deal, by running to Spences Bridge, we should all top up in Hope. My map book has good milage points beyond that, then we all top up at Hope again. By starting there, we all carry 45 litres, so that would be a fun test. This will be a Hope to Hope loop of 260 miles. The total trip, at least for me to the plant would be 452 Miles (727 KM), a real Cannonball trip!!!

If I can just keep out of the throttle on the hills.......

Gee Keith, I left home at 5:30am for last sunday's cruise. I got home at 6:30pm, 13 hours total already. Even with some pretty comfy seats, my behind was kinda sore ;-)! Mind, that'll be only some 50 miles further than we drove this time though......

We need to start an Oktoberfast 2007 thread....

I just reinsured my car today – to the 10th of November - well October is covered.
I'm up for the marathon drive, and will again be looking for a passenger.
If we don't stop at Manning, continue right through to Princeton for the first stop, then re-group again at the Chevron in Merritt (they also have 94), continue through to Spence’s Bridge (short re-group) the a blast down the Canyon back to hope for our final re-group before headed home. At least that time of year the freeway won't be so clogged up returning from Hope, all we need is a good weather weekend, and it’ll likely be a short notice trip (4 days notice most likely as we can't trust weather forecasts beyond that). If we got a cool sunny day like last year...awe man, that would probably be asking too much, but here's to wishing!
So do we do this on a Saturday or Sunday?
Anyone from out of town wanting to join us? If there are a couple of out-of-towners, I vote we do the Saturday run, otherwise it really does not matter to me.
Oooh, ooooh, I'm getting stoked already, now I won't get to sleep!
