My cousin was talking to Ken Stone and Jim Keller and word is Subaru are sponsoring the events this year, and plan to have their Pikes Peak car and driver there... that should bring the level of competition up a few notches... perhaps John Haftner will have a new VNT + control hose this year on his Tui???

"RESERVING" is not an issue, it is just a matter of finding tent space in the 510 corner. ( I almost wish i was running)

Hey guys.
I am going to head up on Saturday after working a half day. Byron are you staying over Saturday night? Is it your Birthday? Are some people heading out for dinner again (like the last couple of years)?

Actually, it was Byron's birthday today, so a few of us met him for dinner in New West just a few hours ago

Morning All!
As I am taking the Aerostar up, if space is limited for anyone, I will be bringing my portable propane barbecue, that any and all are welcome to use friday and sat. night. Matt and and I will be leaving Sunday for the bike race and then home. Did any one get some HEAT for sitting around? I may have somethimg from work!

That would be a good idea if you can dig something up - I don't think Big O will be there to help light a huge fire on the beach!

It looks like there is going to be some rain at some point on the weekend.... (Friday/Saturday) How does that change things, if at all?

Wooooooo, i think I have a place to stay ('cept it's in Winfield  )

So now I just have to arrange w/ the ex & I'll be up w/ her & my daughter :D (hopefully).
Gotta get her breathing exhaust fumes early in life, she's already come to autoX & sat in a Delorean when she was only 6 months old :!: :!: Daddy hasn't even been in 1  .

Rain's never slowed us down in the past - man, that's why they invented tarps!

Over night temperatures have not been too bad, but, could change with this front coming through. Last year it was about 5 C.. Make sure you bring really warm clothes for sitting around in. The wind off the lake can make things cool where we camp there also. I have concocted something to give us a bit of heat. I can turn it Nuclear if we need to, it's just a little noisy, then throttle it back. If any one laughs at it......Matt and I will retire to the warmth of our "HEATED" tent! LOL!

Sean is heading up first thing in the morning, which in Sean's time is like 7am no doubt!
