Yes - more than likely you filler neck hose is split. The wire type clamps that on that hose often make a split that will leak. Disconnect and check it out. The small section of hose right above the tank is the one I would start with - I've had three 510's - had to replace that hose on all three.
Finished is better than perfect......

the little 90 deg breather tube for gas venting on top i would say is the problem as well, especially if there is no fuel leaking in the car. i have jb quick welded them a few times and it holes well but is not a permanent fix. if you can take the tank out you should weld it back up or have it done at a gas tank refurbishing shop, might as well get it cleaned inside while you are at it.
