Toyo RA1's and R888's come in 205/55-14. Beyond that, I think you will have a hard time finding anything that is not a full on R-compound tire other than the Azenis. I have 15" Azenis on my car, and I have found that they are a very good high performance street tire.

I bought my tires and rims from Discounttiredirect.com and the prices were great and shipping was quick.
Go to: http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/home.do? and click on tires then search by size and it comes up with lowest price to highest. It also has reviews from real people either good or bad.

I may have posted those errantly. I haven't been able to find comparative information on RA1, R888 and T1R. I also want to have the 55 aspect ratio in a 195/14.

I've got a set of these on order too -- I decided that I didn't need as racy a street compound as the RT-615s and the shorter tire will look better. I think I'm paying $93/tire mouted from my local tire dudes (ADDS Wheel Warehouse in Sunnyvale).

We should start a 195/55-14 T1R gang...

+1 on the 195/55-14s. Much better look than 195/60-14. Glad you found some for your 14s. Loved my Dunlop SP8000s in that size.

So I had a chance to try out my T1-Rs today. Overall I'm pretty happy. They were way way quieter and more compliant than my RT-615s even with a shorter sidewall. This of course translated to a much sloppier turn in and a bit of a squirmy feeling, which isn't surprising when you compare the shape of the tread between the two. Quite forgiving at the edge of traction, and they give pretty good feedback, just not tons of grip. All in all they seem to be a great street tire, but I wouldn't want to autocross or do any sort of competitive driving on them.

Another bonus is that they can be flipped on the rims once I invariably wear down the inside edges prematurely due to the camber I run. RT-615s have an inside/outside.

On with the pics!
