Tokico Illumina's for the rear?

Post by Wicked Saint » 23 Apr 2009 07:05

I appologize ahead of time if this has been asked many times before but I searched and couldn't find an answer. I will be ordering some 280zx illumina inserts for the front but all reference to rear illumina shocks seem to call for shocks NLA like the corolla and camaro applications. I will be running some 1.6in drop ST springs and would appreciate if anybody could recomend an adjustable shock for the rear preferably illumina series if only for continuity. Thanks in advance. Oh and it's a 73' which will be used primarily for carving up winding mountain roads.

Hello; I have a pair in the back of my '10 that I purchased from Specialty. I believe they are for an RX7. Don't know the year.

I have a pair of Illumina's (white ones) that I took off the rear of my 510 when I installed T3 coil-overs... Yours, shipped to you for $50... PM me if you are interested.

After some more research I found this info that I hope helps somebody else. The 280ZX strut insert for the HP Tokico is the same part number as the 510 HZ3038 but the 280ZX also lists an illumina part number as GZ3038. For the rear I found that the 1st gen RX-7 uses a BE2317 illumina rear shock which has the same compressed length though I believe the stroke and extended length were a bit off but not by much.
