There will be a set screw with a locking nut on the bottom of the carb directly corresponding to the "wing" you see coming off of the venturi "cylinder". It will be difficult to see and get to without a small mirror. Make sure the set screw locks into the dimple on the wing, and that the venturi is straight, then tighten the lock nut.

Ill check it out
I know there is a hole (looks like a missing screw could go in)
in the middle of the venturi openings at the bottom of the weber

Ah - now I remember your car.
I would disconnect the carb, and put it on a bench so you can see what you are dealing with. Find a diagram that shows what your carb, and then you will know what you are missing. With a few dollars in parts, you may be able to get things running correctly, and save yourself a bunch of money. Will probably be easier than buying a new set of carbs, and getting them set up correctly - and WILL be cheaper.....

Are you doing anything to fix your car yourself? The Internet cannot fix it for you. Do you have any manuals on side-drafts? Exploded views? Parts sources? Have you taken any steps that have been suggested in this thread already?

I took out the ventis
looked under the weber
with a mirror
asked people (my dad)
saw a hole where a screw might go
but not sure
My friend said he has a broken down corolla with the same carb
I am going to check that out later
I am thinking about taking my weber out also
is there any precautions i should think about?

If you have an exploded view with parts shown you could know if a screw were to go in there.......
Any carb is going to require some work - best to get to know how to fix it.
Here is an example of something that would be helpful.

Is it MISSING, or you could not find it? Two different things with two different and obvious solutions.

Honestly, the best thing you could probably do is to replace your carb setup with a known-good stock carb setup. You won't have to troubleshoot it, though it will be much easier to do so, and you can concentrate on acquiring the mechanical knowledge of your car that you need in order to enjoy it.

Please don't get caught up in "but it will make my car slower/less cool." There's nothing fast or cool about a car you can't drive because you can't figure out what's wrong with it.

YOu should be able to see it.
Is it the rear barrel that is loose or the front one.?
going by the diagram its right there. run your finger you should see/feel a threaded screw with a 8 to 10mm jam nut if I remeber correctly.
just depends if from or rear as the rear one will be on other side low.

get a mirrow or see if there is a hole where maybe it fell out.

best you get a downdraft 32/36 installed and run that while learning your car first before dealing with dual carb stuff.
