The only difference is there is no Blue / Red stripe (THICK wire) on the KA harness. Everything else is the same. No need for another write-up.

RE: REVISED DIAGRAM

Post by 510-Trevor »

Just to let everyone know. I produced this diagram using the sketches provided earlier in this discussion, and not from my own experience.
I was hoping to get more people involved with checking the diagram, not just for its correctness, but to see if there is perhaps more that could be added.
Once this is one is set up, it would not take much time at all to modify it for other applications (KA, CA, RB, etc.) So that they could be posted in 'sticky' threads.
I look forward to your input.

Thanks, Trevor.

Just a question, but what if I am not using the stock 510 fuse panel what do I do with the black wire? Also what kind of 4 prong relays are being used? :D

for the black wire, use any 12v switch by the ignition ''on''

for the relay use standard 4 prong (2 for coil, 2 for contact) Nissan OEM green or blue one do the job perfectly

Sweet thanks!
I have found a guy to take my harness and wire it up based off of the supplied diagram for $100.

just to bring this back from the dead....My car wouldnt start after I sent the whole harness to a "sr specialist" and had it
"rewired"...what a wastew $ that was. ANyways..he tried using the OEM relays..and when I took it all apart it was all wrong
I used icehouse's diagram and its prefect! except... It kept cranking and cranking wouldnt start. Fuel pump was working, injectors
and coil packs all had power ...sooo from another source There was a small yellow wire coming out of the ECU and I was told it
needed a "start signal" so I hooked it to my started switch and VIOLLA! fired right up. Now...just gotta figure out how to wire in a aftermarket
tachometer. My defi is connected to the "yellow/red" but its not reading anyhting...Im going to test BAZ's solution of a ~5k pull-up resisitor wired
in between:D

What engine do you have? On the s13 engines its a orange wire....... Did I label it wrong? Heavythrottle.com http://www.srswap.com/faq/index.asp agrees with me :D Glad to hear its running, the cost of using my diagram is a ride in your car :) haha I want some pics of the wiring, gotta compare it to my classy wiring :D I should post some pics of my sr wiring in my 2 door to.
