That's what I built the car to do. I'm glad he's doing it. My fun was more in the building.

Never saw the need to beef up the brakes beyond the aluminum drums and good fluid, and I had it on a few fun runs and plenty of DD traffic. But it's Brian's car now, and he does have his little girl he carts around in it, so yeah. Would love to keep tabs on it as things change.

We'll see what it goes for, we'll be watching.
I'm probably the only guy asking the question - what happened to the original front drum struts?
Not that you get the brake parts to make them work anymore, but I think I'm the only guy here with a complete and functional L13 car that still has the original front drum brakes. I'd be interested if these were still around.

Hey Byron, the seller states he still has the OE front brake setup in his For Sale ad. When he talked about a front brake upgrade, I passed along your information, since you're the only other owner I know with a front-drum car.

Thanks Julian, that’s great. Hopefully he reaches out.
I’m pretty sure no one out there would ever retrograde to an extinct from drum set up that has no parts availability.

You need to grab my coupe front drum brake struts next time you are down here. They are just sitting in my parts pile.
