Hi Mike my brother went through the same thing last year. They ended up putting a stint in his leg vein to open up the blood flow. Things improved greatly after that operation for him. Im hoping things go better for you in the future. Hope you can hold on to butters, but if not I'm sure there will aways be a shotgun seat for you with most of the guys in the club. Cheers

Do you have a buyer lined up?

I've pointed your car to a couple of people who are actively looking and will pay, just in case.... but no bites.

The 510 makes the Porsche look completely inadequate! Great car. Sorry about the situation forcing the sale. Such is life I guess. Wish I knew someone to direct your way...but I don't know many Datsun nuts aside from myself. Curious as to your thoughts about selling it on Bringatrailer.com? The site seems to generate a lot of buzz through their auction process and I think your car could stand up to any and all of the scurtiny that comes along with such an audience.

went for a drive with mandy and robyn today, it was a shake down run for his 68 what a great day to drive a datsun . we started out with a valve lash adjustment on butters ( thank you robyn, it felt good after i got it opened up on the way home). who ever build the motor didn't do a great job setting the valve lash. robyn can chime in on that if he wants. then a nice drive out past the air port to some park .

3in was @ 14 and the rest set >12in <10ex . set it to 10in 12out hot but still a constant tick. like the lash was out.... new go no go gauges used, fuel pump was new, the arm felt sloppy but was tight to the cam... new timing set was very tight .... next time we'll adjust them on the side of the road when butters is stinking hot see if that helps.

we sure shook out a few problems in the 68 Canadian on the drive to Iona
