Trade the parts to Dan for the windshield gasket. Glen should be there now too.

I may have someone who wants the 1200 parts. What do you have?

got the fans and rad mounted, also found I didn't get the rad support very strait. a few extra washers on one corner got it sorted. bent up a small box for the thermo sw.

I have in my hands a nice shinny pair of QA1 adjustable shocks for you. I will try and drop them with you in the morning.

tossed in a battery and to my surprise all electrics worked! and no faults to ground! . spurred on by my good fortune I added coolant and ran a line from jerrycan to pump. a few cranks to prime, choke on and bang, she came to life....and that's were the wave ended.

once hot the cathode for the fan sw in the upper rad hose started leaking and no matter how much Teflon tape I add the leak continues. ...
vacuum gauge thrashing violently from 2 to 22, 12mm action on the intake didn't calm the needle nor the flat head on the carbs ....well I got the gauge bouncing from 7 to 22. double checked for intake leaks with propane. it was suggested that I try balancing the carbs by ear with a hose. started @ no4 and listened to the woosh then no3, same woosh. no 2 woosh with a faint woop, no1 faint woosh and loud bwoop. checked and reset cam lash, helped a bit....... could I have twisted the cam? burnt seat? worn guide? cam too advanced? carb need more adjusting ? ...throttle shaft bent / butter fly needs centering ? did a comp test #1=170 #2=178 #3=180 #4=180
