Which product did you end up using for insulation on the floors & firewall?

Car looks great, and it's an unusual colour on a 510, can't wait to see it on its wheels outside.

Thanks Heinrich, it is satisfying to get the car up to this stage. Now just to put it back together - the fun part!

Hi Byron, the insulation product is call thermobreak. Its a product that Baz recommends. Its easy enough to use, the only issue I ran into was on the roof and hood liner bars. The insulation is a little on the thick side when it comes to that area.

The colour is always the hardest part. From the start I was always going to do a non metalic grey colour. Its just hard to narrow down WHICH colour to use. Lots of the modern greys have to much blue in them for my liking. I spray lots of greys, nardo grey, porsche GT3 grey etc etc. but I thought best to go for a lighter colour, hence the outcome.

Work computer is down so it gives me an opportunity to do an update! Not sure if these wheels will be my final choice but at this stage they will get me through the engineering and licensing requirements. As you can see, they are definitely grandma spec on the rear. So I've contact a friend in Japan to try and help me out with some wider GTR rims.

Then got started on a bunch of other things. Even after all my planning, I still have plenty of nuts and bolts that require plating.... ughh

Hi Richard! Hope you and your family are well. I find it much easier making progress at place away from home! No little ones to distract you :)

Have you started on COUPE v2.0?

Very nice work on the brace (and everything else of course!) The 68 vent looks very clean.

Wow, that's coming together nicely! Love the headliner. I also agree with Joel, those '68 vents look great. Can't wait for more updates.
