I did hear that Obata-san was ill. Shame. If I'd have known you were visiting I'd have asked if you could see if he remembered my Coupe.

Anyway, I digress. Your garage looks awesome. Good work.

yea, i'm still alive and well. Just been really busy around here with work and the house. I've been trying to get back on here and do some updating......maybe soon. Still working on the garage, it's almost done enough to get back on the datsuns......trying to get the coupe in and do a little to it too.

Well, there's about to be a change of address for me and the family, looks like we are heading out east in a few months. I got a new job and will be relocating to my home state of Georgia, closer to family and old friends. So, gotta get the Datsuns ready for a trip across the US. not exactly sure how I'll get it done but more than likely I'll trailer them behind a Penske truck. It's going to be a long and expensive move, but will be worth it in the end. Stay tuned.......

Well, we made it to Georgia, all moved in and started my new job at the FAA. This is a very nice area and I'm sure we are going to love it! The house is still mostly in boxes and the cars and associated car stuff are safely tucked in the horse barn. There's a lot of work ahead but it's not like this is my first crack at building a garage. More to come!

Good to hear that you've arrived safe and sound with household in tow. If past experiences are any indication, I wouldn't be surprised to see that horse barn repurposed into something more aligned with 'horsepower' 😀

Thank you, yes, the horse barn will become the new shop. But I have a lot of other things to get done on the house first. I'll be plucking away at it though in due time.
