Pictures posted will be the most help, especially with a mystery caliper.

The DQ article may be of some help, but probably not with your quest as yet.

DQ Volume 12 Issue 1 - Tech How-To: Strut Swap Guide — Found a later Datsun or 80's Nissan in the junkyard? Here's a guide to brake and strut specifications so you can decide if the parts are an upgrade for your 510, or if they'll bolt on at all.

Vented rotors, big plate on top of brakes. Maybe early ('79-'81) 280ZX struts and brakes?

But it isn't a traditional ZX caliper. And the hub snout has a step in the picture above, but not in the picture I have of an old set.

What's the rotor diameter?

S12 (non VG motor) ?

There should be a part number on the strut tube?

It is 9-1/6 across 230.1875 seems small from what byron wrote in his strut comparison its close to the stock 510 diameter

I believe these are for the US VG30 equipped S12. The 4 cylinder cars didn't have the strut piece across the front of the caliper. '87 was also the first year for the VG30 motor in the 200sx.

I cant seem to find any pic on google that match looked at s12 but those seem to mount wider to the bracket and use bango bolts for the brake lines these just thread in

It's just a shot in the dark here, but would those be about 1980 vintage Maxima calipers and brakes?

The scale is hard to tell, but the rotor diameter should give you a good idea as they were just a bit smaller in diameter than the 280ZX rotors.

Those are VW calipers, not sure what year or what they came off of, maybe 85 golf?? or if those struts are for a VW either, but the calipers are def VW-Audi. you can even see the VW and Audi markings on them. the struts are not 200sx, I don't think the 200 struts have the brake line holder welded on them.
