Interesting Suspension Ideas Courtesy of BMW

Post by duke »

I was browsing the web recently and came across a site with a good deal of info about E30 M3 BMW's, especially some of the race cars (DTM and Group A) from the late 80's/early 90's. Given that the suspension setup is very similar to our cars I thought that people may find some of this stuff interesting. I found their technique of adjusting camber and toe in the rear especially interesting (roll center doesn't change when adjustments are made).

Anyway, here is the site: http://www.e30m3project.com/e30m3perfor ... ticles.htm

Be sure to check out some of the detail pictures of the race cars found under "Miscelaneous Tech".
