Yeah, that's what 280ZX struts look like. Why are you suspicious?

the hubs on all the 280zx strut pictures i've seen are a full circle. these ones have the cutouts on it that are similar to the 510 ones i already have. just made think that maybe they are from a 710 or something.

I don't recall 710 stuff being vented disc. Looks like the ZX caliper (boat anchor).

My old ZX stuff didn't have a full-circle hub face, but it did have a rounded square face, and not cutouts as shown above. However the hub offset looks right for ZX (as in, minimal). You could measure the rotors. ZX is 9.9" dia.

ok after doing the research i have found out that these seem to be 83-84 maxima struts. my main concern is the spindle angle being the same as 280zx struts. can anyone confirm this 100%? i want to make sure before i start ordering coilovers and things to do the conversion. thanks

'83 Maxima struts should be the same as '83 ZX struts as far as dimensions. I have not done that swap using those parts, but the Strut Swap article in DQ says it works.

You could find the posts here where Byron shows strut angles, then compare with what you have.
