And undercoated. It's a bit more textured than I'd like but it will do.

"This thing is pretty much rust free" ... Famous last words. Well a few bubbles in front of the rear wheel arches have turned into another fun exercise. Glad this was found with the car still on the rotisserie, got the passenger side inner rocker done yesterday. POR-15'd the inside before welding on the new panel and I bought some Eastwood frame paint that I'll apply to hopefully be able to cover the heat affected areas. The major concern is the inner to outer rocker interface, I'll do some digging on what others have used to protect the area from corrosion.

The drivers side wasn't as bad, but still needs some love. Those three had areas had excessive pitting, the rest was in decent shape.

Pro Form Undercoat - sprayed it with an undercoating gun at 80PSI and roughly 75 ft. of air hose.

And it is done, coated the inside of the joints with POR-15. It will be a challenge to touch it up in the weld areas... any recommendations?

Nice to see the rust on the floor where it belongs, good job.

Welding will simply bubble the POR-15 and expose raw metal for a fresh coast of rust. I'd recommend going back in through the back side and adding a fresh coat in those areas.

For sure, it's the joints that are not accessible with the paint brush that I'm wondering about. The weld at the underside of the rail is the big one, short of pouring paint down the inside of the quarter panel is there a better way / product to rust proof the area after welding? I guess the factory had the panels pre-coated and only the spot weld areas would be somewhat affected depending on the coating used, but any amount of water in there would eat away at the coating and then finally cause the panels to rust out.

Sounds exactly like this stuff from Eastwood. It goes on like paint which allows it to seep into all those you want it to go places then dries to a self healing film.

with the stock paint still on the car I would seal it with epoxy primer before 2k primer. every spot of red has the potential to fuzz.

Will do, that's the next step.
