Yeah, ill be at autobahn. You can purchase General Admission tickets to get into the events. I believe they go on sale pretty soon. But yeah, the Gingerman event, there are thousands of spectators, so its not a small event. The autobahn event is just a time attack event, so there is no festival along with it. Let me know if you can make it.

This is the start of the rack and pinion mount, I did not get a pic of the finished piece but im quite sure this is the oddest part I ever made lol. So it gets drilled, sleeved and welded for the mounting bolts.

And here it is mounted to the rack, really happy with how this came out,

Damn nice work as usual.

I drool every time I see your jig table....

My father recently mounted a half rack to his '32 Ford project. It's running a dropped front axle, so the rack only controls one spindle and the drag link connects the two spindles on the axle. It look interesting to say the least, just not used to looking at strait axles.

I look forward to your control arm solution up front, keep the updates coming.

Love this thread. The pic of the engine in place..... Crazy-low center of gravity advantage!

Finished up the control arms this weekend. Everything went as planned and really happy with how things turned out. The inclination angle on the bottom control arms are a bit off due to the outer ball joint not tightened and seated in the taper. Cant wait to get this off the build table and on the ground.

So its been ages since I updated mu build. Took a bit of a break from the 510 working on other projects around the shop, some big, some small, lots of paying (which is always nice)but the past few months I made quite a bit of progress, Managed to get the front suspension/steering completely done, really happy with how all that turned out. Rear is all fabbed and set up as well! Chassis to body mounts, engine/tranny mounts, etc.. and off the build table and on the ground! for the first time ever!
