Finally got my 510

I won my ebay auction for a '69 4door 510, Looks half way decent and was only $600 not bad I guess. I will pick it up this weekend and see were I will have to go from here. Look forward to starting my SR20 swap and restor on it. Im just very glad I found this awsome site to learn from and get all the info from the pros. well till then talk to you guys latter.

I hope not LOL. It kinda looks like it been jacked up a bit but that will change very fast... I will tell ya how high I get it.

I think its just the big 85 series tires... looks like a good base to start with though.

What do you recomend for lowering?? Ive seen stickers on some 510's that say ground controle but not sure if that real or what.

well mine was weird cuz i bought a shell and when i put the rear supention together it was really freaking high, and i had no shocks. it was a lot higher than stock. i bought some KYB's from a friend and some specialty springs... we think they are specialty we are not sure. its really freaking stiff and lowerd it alot, but its still about as high as Cam;s (fiveoneoh) 68 4dr.

and for the front since i havent bought 280 front strutes yet i just cut the hell out of some springs. my engine isnt in it and i can JUST fit my floor jack under it.
