Is you goal to get it back to '68 like-ness? Marker lights etc? The car, now that I know who's it was, did have them, but that was 5 years ago.

Yea it actually had them 'till someone drove into something.. Then the fender was swapped out, and blah blah blah. So I cut the metal 68 fender to match the crappy FG one.

Yea I'd like alot of it to go back to '68. Definitely the markers, altho prolly on flared fenders. I like the 70+ dash so that's staying... Dunno that there's really much else to swap back.

why would it be off the road if it's not done?

getting the motor in isn't too hard, just the wiring would be the time consuming part. start reading those wiring diagrams!

Wiring is the EASIEST part, d00d. This wire goes here, That wire goes there, Ta-Da, done.

I doubt it'll pass aircare. I mean I guess it could, but from what people tell me it puffs out some smoke here and there, and blah blah blah.

Well, to me the motor is the easiest - it goes there. Not here nor anywhere, but there.

Ahh, dreaded Aircare....understood.
