Must be fascinating to see all the work that was done to the car back in the day. I'll bet this make for much greater complexity in restoring a car like that. Looking forward to watching your work on this Tyson.

yes it does make this a fair bit tougher during the restoration process, especially with the decision making. fortunately i am in contact with the original owner-builder-driver of the car to help with getting it back to the original condition it was in back in its glory days, around 1979 i am aiming for. it won its two championships in 1981 and 1983. so things will certainly be getting bettered on the car from its original race preparation but nothing that will affect its appearance, definitely nothing modern or obvious. it is cool to discover mods that have been done over the years as the car was sorted out.
