Well I am preparing to do the final bagging and resin infusion of my primary plenum section. It had been molded in a fiberglass mold with a custom bladder inside. In the Process the bladder folded slightly inside the mold and created some voids. So I have used another two layers of carbon to cover the part. I filled the inside with 6 lb foam to hold the shape against the pressure of the vacuum bagging. The foam takes place of the bladder which broke up during the process. I will try to remember to takes pics, which I didn't do on the last molding.

Acetone will melt the foam completely when epoxy sets up, it doesn't touch the epoxy.

Well, I am back home like everyone else, and have time for the 510! Thought I would complete the dash before assembling the engine. No connection really, just know more about wood than engines!! Inside of glove box door, Carpathian Elm. Vacuum press
