1969 bluebird coupe sr20 build
Re: 1969 bluebird coupe sr20 build
195/50/15 hahaha do you think I need a camber adjustment? The rear cambers as you go lower ya?
Re: 1969 bluebird coupe sr20 build
Yes, but your problem is going to be that the rear toes out as you lower it, as well. That's what eats the inside edges of tires, not the camber. It's also what will spit you off the road.larooj42 wrote:The rear cambers as you go lower ya?

Ohhh I see what your saying the new brackets for the camber will it also fix the toe problem?
Re: 1969 bluebird coupe sr20 build
I'm saying thoose wheels will barely fit if you just cut the springs, or run coilovers .... .. but if you modify the rear for adjustable camber,, then the wheels will no longer just barely fitlarooj42 wrote:195/50/15 hahaha do you think I need a camber adjustment? isn't it 15x8.5 -6 or -10??? ....... mini-flares are needed for 15x9 -10's .... and streched tires... .. I'll buy them if you want adjustable camber/toe brackets (alot safer for SR20DET's or any lowered 510) .... maybe you don't want to lower it enough to need fixed camber?
Re: 1969 bluebird coupe sr20 build
Yes, (depending on which brackets you're using) but once you "fix" the camber, see Indy's post above... Reducing camber brings the top of the tire out, not the bottom of the tire in.larooj42 wrote:Ohhh I see what your saying the new brackets for the camber will it also fix the toe problem?

This is a 15x9 -10 on a "stock" rear crossmember/non-fixed camber/toe: ... and very pulled/rolled fenders:

I like the addition of the grill in the opening between the front park/signal lights. Looks good.
