Craig's 71 2 door
Re: Craig's 71 2 door
Thanks alot Byron
Was'nt sure if it was getting to heavy on the pics but I was trying to show all the steps if taken to do the repairs
The hardest is trying to find all the spot weld when its that rusty and you would think you could just pull that rusty metal off but they still hold very well. I end up just grinding the panel to get rid of them. Plus rust is hard to drill
Thanks alot for the compliments guys
Ill keep the pics of the progress coming

Criag please keep the pictures coming as the others have said the work you are doing is inspirational to say the least. I am sure that what you are doing now will be very common in the years to come as we try to keep these cars on the road. Now all that is needed is the skills you have shown in order to complete the job and not get burt out.
Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing.

Re: Craig's 71 2 door
I remember forming the piece in pic 786 on the Bronze car for one side. I spent hours making sure that curve and flange was just right. Your parts look beautiful.
My Bronze car was heavily modified, and as I progressed the project I too kept all the bits I cut off in the process. Aside from a rocker repair which was only 1/4 the job you did - most of the removed bits were bracketry no longer needed. In the end my 5 gallon bucket weighed less than 10 lbs. But it was interesting at the end of the project to look at that bucket of "advancement" as it were.

Wow, awesome work Craig. I've been thinking it would have been easier to just replace my whole sill on my car. Would have ended up with a better job. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for sharing all these shots-I thought my car was bad. Yours makes me feel much better! Keep the pics coming- they're reminding me of things I need to do along the way.
