Very cool. IIRC, the most rare Mikuni/Solex carb to have are the taper bore 50mm carbs.ni believe the jet cover is in the shape of an H on these ones.
But just the same that is a very cool vintage set up.

You're having good luck finding parts. FIA head, Solex 50s and that header.
What's the plans for the other car? Robbing it for bits or is it going to be another project?

Yes, i have to say that i've been lucky to find those parts, and all from Finland.
Other car will be hopefully back to racing someday.

Long time some update, not going to use the FIAhead and mikunis yet, maybe the next engine version.
Re: "1800SSS" historic racing project
Good to see that the project is still moving forward.

I love this build.
On the rear, you have the solid brake lines but have replaced the rubber parts with braided hoses. Are they off the shelf or did you make them yourself?

Yellow tags makes me think they are Goodridge lines.

Yes, they are Goodridge lines.
Re: "1800SSS" historic racing project
Finally got the engine running, found couple of little leaking issues but sounds good so far
