6206 is the bearing #. Motion sells lots of those as they are super common in electric motors and other things like 510s!

picked up a set of led harly headlights H5001, cut the buckets up to fit, plugged them in pulled the sw and nothing ..... :?

i went back and reread pg43 of 2.3L of fun http://www.the510realm.com/viewtopic.ph ... &start=630 searched for a diagram on the web.Image
swapped lo and ground and had feedback on low, dimly lighting up the inner highs. no matter how I swapped the wires could I get all the lights to work.

then I noticed that the 510 has a funny ground thing going on.

can someone please help me get all 4 eyes working she heads to work @ 2pm .... if she drive's 6inches of rust to work.... i fear she will be asking for a bigger motor when she gets home. :P

I probed around with a test light and noticed a positive feed to both sides of the high beam socket (inner lights) when the lows are on. :?

grabbed the new diagram I got from Bert and it looks like the hi - is + till the relay is tripped. Image

she says the lights are the wrong colour, plenty of light but not so good in the rain and terrible white out in the snow.

Interesting that Mandy doesn’t like the headlight colour - I’m the same way with any of the blue spectrum light colours. To be honest, that’s why I went with the standard H4-H1 upgrade in the Bronze - only white in colour, definition in the rain is great- and no shortage of light.

Cable upgrade noted, good job.

Hopefully see you guys on 510 Day, it’s just around the corner!

I too hate the blue shift light spectrum and it does make for poor night driving. Like Byron I am staying with the good old H1 white light.

My 2013 Honda Odyssey has the best light I have driven with in a factory car. I put new bulbs in the G35 last fall and that made a huge change to the better.

Hey Alveen, how are yah? It is usually at Byron's place in Maple Ridge.

We are going to try to do a small drive sometime in April, so keep an eye on the site.

Hey Robyn, I noticed driving in the rain that the LED lights were pretty bad also. I have found a few forums talking about it and a few guys have reported using a yellow tint on the lights really helps.
I found this.

Or if you want to change the whole thing out .
https://vintagecarleds.com/shop/5-75-in ... -inch-kit/

Shifting it down from the 6000k to the mid 2000k apparently makes it much better for rain, snow and fog driving. I think I am going to try the covers on mine to see how it does.

17.95 I'll get in on that!

but first im going to place a couple squares of electrical tape over the two flood arrays and see if it makes them less offensive. too much up close light but will the projectors project....

the VC5000 would be a good addition to the 68.

I do like that that one has changeable bulbs so you could even go to halogen if you wanted.
