If you were to take a look at the first series of pictures you woul see the damn rust in the worst and hardest stop i believe to repair. just the way the metal bends in the front fender area just below the door. Just took a grinder and grinded away all the rust. I myself definatly couldn't have repaired that section and it probably would of cost more in labor to fix than buying the flares.
I like the look of the flares, and saying that about any 510 is just no cool. Maybe if i had painted it bright pink with neon green racing stripes you would have the right to say it bit the dust. But thats your opinion your entitled to it. Some people like it, some people think its too loud.

zootown.
I heard of this also with the wheel bearings but IMHO I think your spacer will be fine. it was just for those guys who about 10 yrs ago where buying those stupid ass gold wire wheels and sticking them out past the fender spaying water all over the place.
I am assuming you want +20mm offset where you want the wheel to move more inside since your having a 1in wider wheel. or you have a really flared out fender
PS your car looks good
get some Euro lights(turn signals) and some bumbers and it will be perfect.
Are those Cibie high beams????

Heck, I've heard stories about those wheel bearing issues going all the way back to the 60's, especially when the common 5-spoke deep dish Cragar SS's came out! The Corvettes especially had big issues in the rear, cuz the trend was deep deep deep dish wheels!! Has something to do with the "load axis" of the wheel center vs the bearing center......or something like that! I'm sure someone will have the proper technical jargon!!

Just thought i would post up some pics of the carbon bre front lip. Also a quick question. Does anyone know where I can find some new lefthand threaded 14mm nuts. I need 2 new nuts for my tie rods. I misplaced the old bolts, and the new tie rod ends did not come with new left hand bolts, only the right hand nuts.

Got some adjustable lower control arms made up. I really like the double adjustable design of the LCAs, it allows you to adjust camber without having to remove the whole LCA. I have some adjustable t/c rods which should be here tomorow. The LCA is a kit that is made up by jordan off of datsun510.com. The adjustable t/c rods were on here a while back and are made by Brian Kostrba. Pics of those tomorow.

I made it myself. It is the original manifold for the ka, I found some flanges that are made for the webers on the internet (forget exactly which site) cut the manifold at about the half way point and then welded the flanges on there. i do know that troy ermish makes a manifold for the ka but i think it is about $500 bucks. The flanges were about $40.
