Thanks guys Its only been 6 years in the making
510's are VERY hard to come by in this "neck of the woods"And "swazy's" even harder...That being said though I pass by a decent 72 l-20b twin webbered 2 door every day on my way to work, we've become friends now and I keep coaxing him to either sell it to me or fix it up, So between my dime my buddy Vince's 510 and this guy I might be able to start a Ontario chapter of the 510 club of BC
Panasports are on my wish list for later on,Being this is my first Dime and that its finally on the road, now I plan to sort out the "bugs" for the next while until I'm happy with the entire package...then on to my first auto x...can't wait!
I'm very happy with the ka, very good cost/power ratio, very good idle, no hesitation at all, very decent torque, pulls nice to 6500 rpm (havn't pushed it too hard YET)
Did the alignment today, 1 deg neg camber rear 0 toe, for the front 1 degree neg camber .12 deg neg toe. didn't mess with the caster yet, Having acces to "my own" alignment machine helps, I set it up quickly this afternoon just to get wheels sorta kinda all pointing in the right direction.
I'm sure these are not preffered settings,I'm going to search the align. post on this site to get reference readings from you guys that have gone through all this before (thanks for that)
Already a good improvment but still will require re adjusting.
Will post more pics of the car at the local cruise night soon, and hopefully a little video.
