Wow, very nice. Those pana's are perfect for that car.... I love that rear halfshaft shot in the other thread too! Just as shiny new on the bottom!

great work Terry!
I'm glad i was able to see it in person there a year ago. Now I can really appreciate the work you have done since to get it to look absolutely amazing!

I noticed it is starting to look a little more modified than the "stock" car you were aiming for...

Hey Rich...
It has a stock motor for now but I plan to put a 2.0L with dual Webbers sometime down the road. The aim from the start was get the car restored to the point where I can drive and enjoy, then eventually install some go fast / stop fast goodies. When the car is ready to drive it will have Specialty Engineering springs and shocks, slotted rear crossmember, Panasport wheels, Hankook Ventus tires, Sparco front bucket seats, matching Sparco fabric for the rear seat, Momo steering wheel, and custom door panels. Just a small amount of modifications but the ones that will have the most visual impact. Right now I am sanding the clear coat again, this time with 1500/2000 grit sand paper in preparation for a power polish.

Started power polishing the car today. The polish and foam pads cost $90.00 but the results are worth it. with all the sanding and polishing it will take a week to get it done.

This polishing compound works beautifully. It seems to cut rather slow but that is good so you dont take too much off. This is only the first of two compounds to go on. Allready the clear looks like it is wet.

Sweet, I love before and after shots. If I may ask, what did you use for sandblasting? Sounds like a good place to use it (inner door edges)...

What a %#*& mess... It looks like a snow globe exploded in my garage. The polishing compound flys everywhere.
